At the annual conference/meeting, the Iowa Chapter of the International Association of Arson
Investigators presents the Presidential Award of Excellence to such individual(s) who have made
outstanding contributions to the suppression of arson in Iowa.
Applications must be made in writing and submitted to the Board of Directors of the Iowa Chapter
of the International Association of Arson Investigators in care of Becky Nelson, PO Box 177,
Malcom, Iowa 50157. All applications must be submitted by July 31st. The application must also
detail the act or acts resulting in the nomination.
You need not be a member of the Iowa Chapter of the International Association of Arson
Investigators to submit a nomination or receive the Presidential Award of Excellence.
The Board of Directors of the Iowa Chapter of the International Association of Arson
Investigators shall make the decision as to who shall receive the Presidential Award of
Excellence. It is the sole discretion of the Board to make such an award or awards and is not
required to make this award each and every year.
